Roblox Soundboard: 56 Sounds, Free to Play

What this page covers

Roblox sounds are the shortest, most recognisable game audio on the internet: a death that says "oof", a can of Bloxy Cola opening, a gravity coil lifting, a noob screaming, a wave goodbye. This board collects them, including the sped-up oof that gets faster until it stops being a sound and becomes a rhythm.

If you have spent any time in a voice chat with people under twenty, you already know half of these. The board exists so the other half is one press away, and so the clips have titles you can actually search for.

Every sound on this board

The table below is the board. Most rows are under two seconds, which is what game UI audio is: a confirmation, a death, a pickup. A few are compilations of several character lines, and those are the only rows long enough to need a second press to hear the end.

Why these clips travel so far

Roblox audio is functional first. Every sound exists to tell a player something — you died, you drank, you jumped, you left — which means each one is short, loud enough to be heard over music, and mixed to cut through. Those are exactly the properties that make a sound usable as a reaction clip: no run-up, no ambiguity, no need for context.

The second reason is that the platform is where a generation learned to talk to each other online. A clip from Roblox is not a reference to a game, it is a reference to childhood, and that gives even a two-second death sound an emotional payload that a stock effect cannot match.

The oof is the clearest case. It was retired from the platform and replaced, which turned a game sound into a piece of nostalgia: the uploads here are the only place many players can still hear it exactly as it was.

Using game audio in videos

Roblox clips are excellent for short-form video because they do the work of a cut. A death sound over a failed attempt is a punchline, an achievement chime over a success is a reward cue, and both land in under a second with no explanation.

They are worse for anything that needs to feel serious. The sounds are cartoonish by design, and dropping one into a sincere video reads as irony whether you intended it or not. If you need a game sound that does not wink, a riser from the production board will serve you better.

For streams, the main risk is repetition. An oof alert is funny for a day and grating for a month, and the people watching are the ones who suffer. If you must use one, put it on a rare event rather than on every follow.

Playing them in a call

At this length, latency is the whole experience. A one-second clip that arrives half a second late reads as a random noise rather than a response, which is why a virtual audio cable beats a screen-share for anything timed. Route the browser through the cable, or add the page as a browser source in OBS with monitoring on.

On a phone, these clips are the best-behaved rows on the site: short, mid-range, no low end to distort. A phone speaker reproduces them cleanly at low volume, which makes the Roblox board the one to open when you are in a room with other people and do not want to be the person whose phone is shouting.

A second press restarts rather than layers, so the sped-up oof can be pressed in rhythm if you want the joke to keep climbing — though past five presses it stops being a joke and becomes a test of patience.

Where the audio comes from

The sounds belong to the platform, its developers and the people who recorded them. The uploads here are third-party captures, some processed, some renamed. This page owns none of it and makes no claim that any row is licensed for commercial use — for a monetised video, treat the board as an index and go to the source.

Questions people ask

Is the oof still in the game? The classic version was replaced on the platform. The rows here are the uploads, which is why some of them sound slightly different from each other.

Why do some titles have the character's line in quotes? Because the uploader labelled the clip by what the character says, which is more useful than naming the animation.

Can I use these in a Roblox video? That depends on the platform's rules and on the audio's owners, not on this page. The board cannot grant permission it does not have.

How this board is maintained

Titles are kept as uploaded; duplicates stay as separate rows where the audio differs. Rows that fail the site's content screen are removed before the count in the heading is taken, so the number at the top matches the table.
