Enrique Soundboard: 56 Sounds, Free to Play

What this page covers

Enrique is a single word shouted with total conviction, and this board is fifty-six recordings of that word arriving at different speeds. The original, the slowed version, the sped-up version, a bass-boosted one whose filename admits it was boosted twice, and at least one that pairs the name with a fart because the internet is predictable.

There is no sentence to learn and no context to explain. The clip is a name, delivered as if the speaker has just seen something they cannot unsee. That is why it travels: any moment of disbelief can be answered with it, and the answer is funnier than describing the disbelief.

Every sound on this board

The table below is the whole board. Titles are as uploaded, which in this family means you will read the same name with three different capitalisations, two spellings of "sped", and a bracketed note about which app was used to make it. Those notes are the only provenance most of these files have.

Why one word has fifty-six versions

Because in this family the delivery is the content. "Enrique" said flat is a name; "Enrique" slowed by half is a man realising something; "Enrique" sped up is panic; "Enrique" with the bass pushed until the voice distorts is a threat. Same syllable, four different jokes, and the only way to know which one you have is to press it.

The slowed versions are the ones that last. Slowing a shouted word stretches the vowel, and a stretched vowel sounds like disbelief held for a beat too long — which is exactly the register people reach for when a plan falls apart. The sped-up versions are the opposite: they are the sound of someone being told the news and refusing it at the same time.

The bass-boosted uploads are the least subtle and the most useful in a group where everyone has already heard the clean one. They are not funnier; they are louder, and loud has its own comedy ceiling. Use them when the room is noisy.

Picking one and sticking with it

If you are going to keep a single clip on your phone, keep the clean original. It works in a work call, it works with people who do not know the meme, and it does not require the listener to be in on anything.

If you are in a group that already speaks in clips, learn the slowed one. It gives you a second register — the same word, but delivered as resignation rather than shock — and having two registers is what makes a reaction sound feel like a vocabulary instead of a tic.

The fart remix exists. It is on the board because it exists. It is not the version you want in a meeting.

Using it in a call

Timing is almost the whole trick. The clip starts on the name, so it has to land in the gap after someone finishes speaking. Fire it while they are still talking and you get two voices and no joke. Wait half a second too long and the moment is gone.

The word is short enough that it survives a bad connection. That makes it a better choice than a two-second gag when you are on a call with someone whose audio keeps dropping: the part that matters arrives in the first few hundred milliseconds.

On a phone, the clip routes through the media channel, so silent mode silences it. On a laptop, some browsers hold audio until the page has had a click; if a press looks dead, click once anywhere and press again. For Discord, a page cannot push audio into a voice channel — use a virtual cable or a browser source in OBS with monitoring on.

Where the audio came from

The rows reflect uploads, not an original master. At least one title says it was made with a voice-changing app, which means the "original" it imitates was already a processed voice. This page owns none of it and makes no claim that any row is cleared for commercial use.

Questions people ask

Is there a longer version? No, and that is the point. Every row is the same word; the differences are speed, pitch and saturation.

Why do the filenames look like they were typed in a hurry? Because they were. Uploaders name files for themselves, not for a table, and cleaning them up would erase the only clue about which version is which.

Can I use it as an alert sound? You can, but it stops being funny by the third trigger. A clip that depends on surprise does not survive repetition on a timer.

How this board is maintained

Titles are kept as uploaded. Duplicates stay as separate rows because two uploads of the same word routinely differ in speed or bass, and collapsing them would delete the difference the listener came for. Rows that fail the site's content screen are removed before the count in the heading is taken.
