Deltarune Soundboard: 56 Sounds, Free to Play

What this page covers

Deltarune is a game whose sound design does half the storytelling, and this board collects the cues people quote back at each other: the Dark Fountain opening, Spamton's laugh, the Snowgrave sting, a battle-start jingle, and a Roaring Knight roar loud enough to be a jump scare on its own.

Most of these clips are under five seconds. That is not an accident of upload — it is how the game writes. A jingle tells you a fight started, a single laugh tells you who is in the room, and a roar tells you that you have made a mistake. The board keeps them at that length so you can drop one into a conversation without turning it into a cutscene.

Every sound on this board

The table below is the inventory in one pass. Titles are as uploaded, which means some of them carry chapter numbers and some carry spoiler warnings in the filename itself. If you have not finished the game, read the table as a list of names and nothing more: several rows name a character's fate more plainly than the game ever does.

The clips that are actually useful in conversation

Three kinds of cue live on this board, and they behave differently.

Character laughs are the portable ones. Spamton's laugh, the Chaos King's laugh and Gerson's old-man laugh all work as a reaction to something absurd, and they work on people who have never played the game because a laugh is a laugh. These are the rows to learn first.

Stings are the second kind: the battle-start jingle, the weird-route jingle, the achievement-style cues. They mark a transition, so they only make sense when something has just changed — a decision, a loss, a boss appearing. Firing one at random sounds like a phone notification from a game you are not playing.

The set pieces are the third: the Dark Fountain, Snowgrave, the Roaring Knight. These run longer, they carry plot, and they are the ones that spoil. They also get less effective every time you use them, because their power comes from the scene they belong to and not from the waveform.

Spoilers are a design problem, not a content problem

This board cannot avoid naming things the game reveals slowly, because the uploaders named the clips after the events. What it can do is keep the names literal so a reader knows what they are about to hear. A row called "Noelle's Snowgrave" tells you exactly which scene it comes from; a row called something coy would be worse, because you would press it without warning.

If you are streaming a first playthrough, keep this board closed until you finish. The clips are short enough that a mis-click is unrecoverable: there is no way to un-hear a roar that announces a character you have not met.

Playing game audio in a call or on a stream

In a browser, a press plays the clip from the start, so a second press restarts rather than layering. That matters here more than on a meme board: two overlapping Snowgrave stings sound like noise, not like emphasis.

For Discord, the page cannot push audio into a voice channel; route the browser through a virtual cable or add the page as a browser source in OBS with monitoring on. On a phone, audio goes to the media channel, which is fine for a room and useless for a call unless the phone is on speaker.

One practical note about these particular clips: many are mixed quietly relative to modern game audio, because they were captured from a game with a compressed soundtrack. If a laugh sounds thin next to a phonk clip from another board, that is the source, not the page. Turn the system volume up rather than expecting the clip to be normalised.

Where the audio comes from

The sounds belong to the game and its creators. This board does not own them, does not license them, and does not claim the uploads are cleared for anything beyond listening. What it does claim is that the titles are honest about which scene each clip is from, and that the table is the full set of rows on this board rather than a curated highlight reel.

If you are publishing something commercial — a video essay, a mod, a monetised stream — treat this page as an index of what exists and go to the source for permissions.

Questions people ask

Does this board cover every chapter? No. It covers the clips that got uploaded to public soundboards, which skew heavily towards the moments people quote. A chapter with no memorable one-liner contributes nothing to the table.

Why do some titles include the word "isolated"? Because the uploader stripped the music and left the voice. Those rows are usually cleaner for use in a video and shorter than the full scene.

Can I use these in a video about the game? Commentary and criticism are one thing; re-uploading the audio as your own is another. The board takes no position on your fair-use argument, and it cannot give you one.

How this board is maintained

Titles are kept as uploaded, chapter numbers included, and duplicates are kept as separate rows when the audio differs. Rows that fail the site's content screen are removed before the count in the heading is taken, so the number at the top is the number in the table.
